Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars Recipe

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars recipeThese bars are SO DELICIOUS that I’ve had to spend time while Archy sleeps sharing the recipe with you!! You know when you taste something you made and you can’t believe how good it is… This taste is yum! Of course it’s not my recipe… It’s from a book called WHOLE and the recipe is by Buffy Gill. T

The top pic is mine and the bottom pic is hers… Spot the difference hehe! But they still taste the same I bet?

Choc Peanut Butter Bars:

Base:
1 cup rolled oats.
1/2 cup peanut butter
6 medjool dates, pitted
2 tbsp dark coconut nectar (I used honey)
2 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 tsp vanilla powder (I used essence)
1/8 tsp Salt
Blend all together, press into a tin & freeze.
Topping:
1/2 cup cacao butter melted
1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
3 tbsp dark coconut nectar (I used maple syrup because you’re hearing it).
1/2 tsp vanilla powder (I used essence)
Pinch of salt
Melt altogether and pour on top of the set base. Freeze.
I left over night and just had a piece now… They almost taste like a snickers!

Hmm I think this is going to be my lunch……Right… I better get back to my to do list?
